Questions

How often must internal ISM audits be done?

The ISM Code asks the company to carry out internal safety audits on board and ashore at intervals not exceeding twelve months.

Can an external auditor do the internal audit?

Yes. Many companies use an independent auditor, which also meets the ISM Code’s expectation that auditors are independent of the area they audit.

Can ISM, ISPS and MLC be audited in one visit?

Yes. One visit on board, with the findings reported separately for each code.

Do you audit the office too?

Yes, shipboard and office audits. The office audit can be on site or combined with document review.

How much does it cost?

We quote per request, based on the audits, the ship or office, the location and the dates. Send the details below and we reply within one working day.
