FUTURE OF SHIP
INSPECTIONS
Safety glasses with AI + AR. The next frontier of maritime compliance — real-time augmented reality overlays, autonomous defect detection and drone-assisted hull scanning. Active development, prototype stage.
Autonomous Inspection: AI Meets AR
ShipCheck AI is building the next generation of maritime compliance infrastructure. Where today's platform automates photo analysis and reporting, the prototype takes this further — putting AI directly into the inspector's field of view through augmented reality safety glasses, with real-time defect detection mapped against a live global knowledge graph.
Real-time compliance overlays surfaced directly in the inspector's field of view. Hazards, clause references and status indicators appear on the vessel surface as you look at it.
Production-grade defect detection on physical surfaces. Rust, cracks, structural anomalies and safety violations identified automatically from live camera feed.
Autonomous hull and superstructure scanning. Drones feed live imagery into the AI engine, enabling full vessel inspection without scaffolding or confined-space entry.
Every finding linked in real time to IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL and class society clauses. The global compliance knowledge graph grows with every inspection performed.
